RAI...
The other day I did an RAI at Subway: I entered the Subway and the gentleman working ask me "what he could get for me today?". I told him that he gets to choose - yes the guy behind the counter was deciding what I was going to eat for lunch that day... I wasn't worried, in fact I was relieved - I didn't have to decide on anything. At first, the fella seemed a bit anxious as he shouldered my burden, but after he sliced my bread he fully accepted the responsibility I bestowed upon him and created a great sandwich. I have to tell you, it was nice not having to make that decision.
I am regularly incorporating RAI into my decision making, not everything but some decisions. I challenge everyone to try this - it's very liberating... I was inspired to complete this RAI (Random Acts of Indecision) after reading this story by T.M. Shine:
